1. It is an unusually cold winter, and we are tired of being stuck inside.
2. In the winter, we have less wildlife around and it makes us sad.
3. Hailey would really like the groundhogs to come out so she can catch another one.
One of the groundhogs that lived in our yard last year |
We hope the groundhog will speak truth! :) xoxTootsie
ReplyDeleteWe are hoping those groundhogs have a good news, too.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping for Spring as well 'cos we only seem to be getting 87 flakes of snow at a time and that's no use whatesoevers!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

Paws crossed for you and an early Spring. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

Hailey I'm with you, I would like to eat such a guy... with a shadow or without.
ReplyDeleteeasy Rider
We're ready for spring too!
ReplyDeleteDid I read that correctly? Did you really once catch a groundhog, Hailey? MOUSES! All I've ever caught is a mouse or two, some - okay, MANY - chippies although I always let 'em go without hurtin' them, a couple of snakes and some bugs.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy

ReplyDeleteWTG
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
We remember the ground hogs that.... USED.... to LIVE in your yard... hehheehhee
ReplyDeleteWE are sick of winter too... butt we do not trust those rodents to tell us the truth... they are cussins to the squirrels, you know... all in cahoots, if you ask US.
We had a ground hog in our yard a few years ago. It was not very polite at all! It hissed and snapped at us doggies. Then it ducked into the back door of the garage. Mom slammed the door shut so we doggies couldn't get in. We barked and howled! It hid under all of Dad's power tools and boxes of wood. Finally it ran out the front garage door and right past our Jason humans legs! We've never seen that ground hog again!
ReplyDeletewe sure hope the ground hogs think spring comes soon
ReplyDeleteHappy Groundhog Day! Let me know what that little bugger decides. If it stays Winter for longer, you can always come hang out down here with me!
ReplyDeleteHappy Groundhog day!!!

ReplyDeleteSpring is desirable for sure.... so, apparently, are groundhogs!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
As the snow continues to fall we are hopeful of any sign of Spring.
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm so sorry to say that rotten Punxsutawney Phil saw his dreaded shadow. Dang, I was hoping for a fast Spring. Maybe we should all try to bash some rodents!
ReplyDeleteGrr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commish
Hopefully Frankie is right and Phil will be wrong...or hey, maybe we can arrange for Hailey to visit Pennsylvania maybe??? ;-)

ReplyDeleteI'm about sick of this Phil guy determining when we get warmer weather. I am so OVER Phil!
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,

You have groundhogs??? Ojo would like to come stay with you!
ReplyDelete("Why did the ground hog not see his shadow?" "I don't know, Cobi, why?" "Because Ojo and Cousin Lee ate him!")
Licks,
Cobi
If you catch one, I will be glad to make you a delicious pizza.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
I love Hailey's reason! I'm afraid the groundhog said "lots more winter". But, it will be more fun if you get snow rather than bitter cold. I'm rooting for that!
ReplyDeleteSo, if the groundhog comes out and sees *Hailey's* shadow, I wonder what that means? (Probably nothing good for the groundhog!)
