I am having a really hard time enjoying this winter. It has been really cold. I have not been able to spend enough time outside. I have been working hard to see the beauty in it, and the other day I did.
The snow, my boy, and a beautiful sunset through the trees of our yard. It really can be beautiful.
That is a beautiful scene, I luffs that sunset peaking out behind the trees!

Dear Phod,
ReplyDeleteYour winter is beautiful.
Sigh.
We have mud. And stupid flowers, like cherry blossoms and crocuses.
Tell you what. I will send you some flowers, if you send me some snow. Deal?
Licks,
Cobi
Your winter has been very different from ours!

Snow are pretty, but it are too cold for me.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! It's hard to imagine but we're on the other end of the spectrum. Our winter has gone awol, and now everyone is complaining about the lack of cold and snow. Perhaps you could send us yours and we'll send you our warmth!
ReplyDeleteI do truly love that beautiful scene in your yard.
This time of year you just have to learn to love the snow or you will be miserable. Glad you were able to see the beauty.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel. First we were upset thinking this winter had just skipped us. First green Christmas in a while, then all the sudden we get blasted and blasted with snow, but it's too damn cold to enjoy it! UGH!

I love the color of the sky in that photo. I'm with you in having a hard time enjoying winter this year. The cold has been relentless and we just can't get outside enough. I also took some photos of a pretty sky (sunrise), and it did help to remind me of the beauty of it. I wish I'd thought to share one for this hop!
