Mischief Monday - A Matter of Opinion -by Phod

 Dear pals,

Since the field has been cut, I believe the most wonderful thing has happened. Lady and Man disagree with me on this.

Now that the grass is gone it is much easier to find the deer poop. It makes an excellent snack.

Lady and Man say I am a gross boy, but they don't understand the delicacy they are missing out in.

Your not gross at all pal Phod

P.S. my blood work came back fine. Nothing to worry about. I have also reluctantly started my new allergy meds. Will keep you posted if they help. Lady is torn, while she wants me to be comfortable and happy, these are crazy expensive pills. It is costing $10 a day. Of course, if they work, I am lucky my people can afford this, but they would rather not.

  1. Hi Phod,
I'm totally with you on the deer poop question!
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.
PS Gail says the pills will be worth it if they work well and nothing else cheaper does.

Hmmm... Lady needs to research an analogue medicine for price comparison. The way hyoomons can go to the pharmacy and have the chemist suggest another of equivalent benefit but way cheaper... But the main thing, we agree, is that the work.

I am afraid I am in the Lady camp re the poop-food though, Phoddy; you just don't know where those deer have been!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. I've seen deer in my yard but they don't seem to leave their calling card. Darn! I bet it smells wonderful to roll on as well as to snack on! We hope the allergy meds work for you, Phod.

  6. I hope those expensive pills can be stopped in the winter time when there's no allergies if that is what they are for. Glad you're feeling better and if Beau was there he would help you eat that poop

  7. My ghostwriter sees a lot of deer when she drives to and from work. But we never get any actually in our yard. We do get bunnies, though. One piece of advice: watch out for deer ticks. I got Lyme disease a few months ago, and like I said, there are no deer getting into my yard.

  8. WAIT .... I think that's why our dogs aren't barking at the deer anymore. They have made an agreement, if they don't bark and chase them, they get their "what they leave behind." 😕

  9. We don't have any deer come in our fenced yard so we never get to try that particular delicacy but we do get rabbits in our yard and they leave tasty morsels for us to consume too.

  10. Oh Dear Phod what a scoop of info on the availability of Deer Poop.
I hope the pills work wonders and MAYBE just MAYBE they will suddenly make you have a dislike for deer poop

  11. Holy cow...$10/day?? Is there a generic formulation that's a bit cheaper? I hate to agree with your Dad on the deer poop, Phod.

  13. That is so nice that the deer leave you delicious candies in the grass. Good luck with your medicine. Mom says it is probably made of gold.

    Love and licks,
