Terrible Tuesday - Poor Lee

Last week was a stormy week. I did not give Lee her Xanax on Tuesday before I left for work. We thought she had done ok until later in the evening when I walked into the downstairs bathroom (aka her fortress of solitude) and discovered the fortress bed and some rags had been chewed up. While I sighed cleaning it up, I did tell her this was a level of destruction we could live with.

She had her Xanax on Thursday, and still ripped up the rags I have put in the garbage (she took them out of the garbage). We still call it a win!

Oh, Hailey, it's horrid to be scared by the boomeries - but at least now you have a safe place and a level of destruction that isn't going to create other kinds of booms! Sendig POTP and Love and hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  12. Oh, Hailey, we wish we could make those storms go away or make them less dreadful for you. At least you didn't shred the toilet paper:)

  14. Poor Lee, we are glad you are so understanding. Mommy's dog Sir Lass (border collie) was afraid of storms.

  18. Dear Ojo's Cousin Lee,

I have decided I do not like storms anymore. I now must be right beside my person at all times when it is stormy. This is new. But just because I used to be fine with storms doesn't mean I still have to be, right? I can change my mind!

That does indeed look like a very reasonable amount of destruction. Well done. We are sorry your Xanax did not work all the way.

    Licks,
    Cobi
