Sepia Saturday - Walking Zaphod
I have never walked Zaphod alone. Hailey I had (and she is more or less the same alone, maybe a little less sniffing when alone), but not my boy. I have been enjoying the time we have been spending together. I think he as too. He always has a big smile when we head out. He is actually sniffer than Hailey. He also often checks in with me or nudges me for pets on the walk (something Hailey never does, I think she forgets she has a human with her half the time).
He is happy until I ask him to stop to take his picture, then I get these cute faces:)

ReplyDeleteI am sure that each dog appreciates single time too, for different reasons. Glad you are finding some benefit for yourself in it; every 'parent' finds that dynamics differ according to whether they are alone with each of their children or if all the kids are together! YAM xx
oh a just mom&me time is very important... and as much as we love our fursiblings such solo-walks are good too for both ends of the leash.... wish we would live closer, so I could send Easy to entertain Lee while you walk with Phod ... oh wait... better not, they would make a great duo infernal :o)

ReplyDeleteIt can be hard sometimes to make sure our babies get one-on-one time. It's good that you make a point to do that. I should start doing that too.
