While we do see deer all year, we see the most in the spring and the fall. The dogs and I see them many mornings and if I had my camera, there is no way I could capture a picture of them! We happened to see these ones in the yard the other day and I snuck out on the deck (snuck from the dogs, not the deer) to capture a few pictures.

Wow, great pix! I love that you caught them kicking up their heels. BOL I see them all the time too. I bark and they ignore. *sigh* I gotta admit I chuckle a little when Mom catches them eating her lilacs.

Wow! Ghostwriter often sees deer nearby the nursing home where she works. But in the past week, some big machines came and flattened the little wooded area where the deer hide! The last time she saw them, they were quite bewildered, wondering where their woods went. She and her little old people love seeing the deer there and will be very sad if they move elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteDeer are so pretty I love to watch them.

We love watching the deer around us too. The dogs not so much, they want to bark and chase. Thankfully the yard is fenced in so they can only run the fence. Of course I discourage them from barking and chasing, but they really do love it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I think the most we've seen in our yard at once this year is three. We've been seeing them everywhere lately, but my hubby wonders why we never see any bucks, only does?
ReplyDeletethat is pretty cool to have the deer in your yard!
