Mischief Monday - Didn't say Hi! - by Phod

 Hi pals,

Lady left the house at 2 on Friday afternoon and only got home Saturday evening. Hailey happily greeted her at the front door. I on the other hand didn't get up. She was home for about an hour and a half before I found the strength to come out of the bedroom to see her.

You may think I was mad at her, and I was a little angry, but mostly I am going a little deaf and likely didn't hear her.

your pal, the getting old Phod

  3. Phod...I totally relate to what you said. We have learned here ..that we can no longer talk to each other from a different room and we might have to speak up a bit.
I'm glad you finally came ou.

  4. Gail tells me that both my predecessors lost their hearing in old age, although there was a phase when it was hard to decide whether the deafness was selective or involuntary.
I hope Lady now stays at home where she belongs for a good long while.

  7. Phod, we are sure the Lady knows how much you love her and missed her. Lightning would totally agree that it is tough getting old.
