Dear pals,
This really great thing happened a few weeks ago. Callie's kids, Dylan and his sisters M and J came over for a movie night so their parents could go out without them. We all had a great time and the kids want to come back soon.

we love this idea... a movie night is fantabulous!
ReplyDeleteQuite lovely. Eating dinner one Friday night, in a restaurant in San Francisco (where I lived), I congratulated a women on her four young daughters, who were enjoying themselves. She told me she lived next to the girls, in an apartment building, and every Friday night, she took them out to dinner, so the parent could have an evening free. Being neighborly seems a rare thing, now days.....
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great time and popcorn makes it even more special!

Phod 'babysitting is hard work'. YES it is you have to sleep with one eye on them at all times.

How fun it is to get to watch a movie and share some popcorn with your younger neighbors. That was nice of the Lady and Man to give their parents a night off, too.
