FFF Nature Friday - A Tail Tale

Today is  Aunts-Yam'S FFF (final fiction Friday) and Rosy's Nature Friday.

In the woods around our place,

Is a pack of birds who like to race.

They can always be found flying around,

In the trees or on the ground.

They squawk and eat and land and fly,

There beautiful blue lights up the sky.

While they are as bossy as can be.

The blue jay pack is special to me.

This is our best guess the tail feathers of a blue jay who came to check the trail cam out!

The jays empty our feeders quickly. At any time ther can be 10-15 around. They are with us year round.

  5. My ghostwriter says she had a pet blue jay that she raised from a chick. She even got her picture in the local newspaper. The blue jays are still some of our favorite birdies!
