Dear pals,
As you know, I am a great hunter. I have caught some things in my life when given the opportunity.
Now that I am the best girl in the world, and getting to be off leash some, I had the opportunity to hunt.
One of the things I always do, is check out my hole. The peeps and I have agreed we can have one hole in the yard. Lady says in the fall, when it isn't so surrounded by bush she will take a picture to show how big it is. I started this hole years ago in my tunnelling efforts to see Easy and have continued it for Phenny and Nelly. I happened to be inspecting said hole (as I have Phod doing most of the work) when an evil mole showed up. Clearly, I can't have another creature in the hole, so I made short work of him.
Semi-graphic picture to follow
While the people were not thrilled with my amazing hunting abilities, they were very happy I dropped it right away. They did a Google search to see if I was going to get sick from this, but since my rabies shots are up to date, I should be ok!
I was very proud of my great skill and will be dreaming about it for some time.
A very happy Hailey Bug
Hailey I am so envious and super impressed. A whole mole in your hole. (Well, not so whole now...)
ReplyDeleteGreat job.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
wow congrats.... that is a serious kind of science named mole-cular biology, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling because we had three dogs that had the combination of what you have. Baby girl would dig a hole to China in about 30 seconds and she had them all over the yard and then she had her favorite one that was under the Bee Tree and that we thought she was going to visit easy! Jake was the killer in the house anything that came in the yard was dead from lizards and snakes to possums and raccoons ducks anything that came in the yard.

ReplyDeleteEwww, moles are so ugly!!! But good hunting job, Lee - that mole could have done lots of damage with all those tunnels they can dig.
