I was excited to report that my peeps have finally realized that I can be trusted in the yard off leash. They have some pretty strict rules about the time of day and my mood before this is attempted. They say this is because I have a history of not listening and a very successful hunting record. Then on Halloween, I decided to go to the neighbours without telling Lady. Our neighbour has a dog who hates other dogs. Lady only found me because she heard me barking. So I have lost this privileges with her. I will try and get the Man to trust me as I really loved my off-leash time.
Last weekend, in the rain I went searching for flowers, but I didn't find any. I think the flower part of our year is done! I will keep looking!
Murphy, will keep an eye out for Wilson too!
Oh dear Hailey, sometimes it is so hard to follow the rules.

ReplyDeleteAw crikey, those privileges are such difficult things to find - so easy to leave behind! Good luck running up more brownie points. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I hope you will win that privilege back soon Professor Lee... well at least I'm a good student because I walk in your footsteps and I'm on the leash now too after I danced on the compost pile...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the exploration. Mom and Dad had to fence our yard because I chase the rabbits.

Good for you earning privileges.
ReplyDeleteWell dog gone it Lee. It is not your fault per se but that of your keen sense of smell.
ReplyDeletePurrs you can gain Lady's and Man's confidence again soon
hugs madi your bfff
Good for you learning to be off leash. Things will get better soon.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is hard to resist temptation but if you are a good girl you will get more off leash time!

Good luck wif da flowers.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we're really well-behaved as long as we're alone and there is nothing to investigate or harass!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to get back in the Lady's good graces soon, Hailey! I never get to go off-leash unless I'm inside my fenced in yard.
ReplyDeleteWell, Hailey, some rules are not meant to be broken. :)
ReplyDeleteAargh. Parents hate when we wander off. I am also unpredictable off-leash. Apparently my leash is part of me, now. Good luck, H.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
Uhoh! I hope you get your off leash privileges back soon!
ReplyDeleteWe never get to be off leash unless we are in our fenced kingdom:( Mom says the Siberian in us would cause us to just run and run and run. No flowers to be found here either, but maybe we can help search for Wilson.

Sheesh...one little romp over to the neighbors and the Lady cut you off?? Hope you can sway the Man into restoring them!

Take heart, Cinnamon has lost her yard privileges too. She took herself for a walk around town and barked at the dogs down the street. When Daddy went to get her, she ignored him!
ReplyDeleteI, Marvelous, hope you get your off leash privileges back soon

You'll have to work really hard, Hailey, to get those privileges back! Sorry about the flowers. They're done here too :(
ReplyDeleteSorry gurl. I would loves to go huntin' with you! Butts, most of our wildlife is nocturnal, except for the tree rats, of course! Maybe if I promise to keeps an eye on you, your Moms will relent??☺ Lets me know, and I can be up there in two shakes of a squirrels tail! Paws crossed the Man is easier....☺

Congrats on having some off leash time in your yard but stick to the rules so you don't loose that privilege.
ReplyDeleteBummer about losing your off leash privileges. Sam thinks you might have been unfairly enticed and thinks the punishment may be a bit too severe. 😃
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about you losing the off lead privileges and hope you get them back very soon. Sometimes temptation just gets too much to resist BOL Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteLee, I keep losing my off leash privileges too. I really miss them but Mom says my nose leads me into TROUBLE and that when I get a scent I don't listen to her. I don't think it's fair that Fenris almost always gets to walk off leash. ~Tuiren
