Phod want deep into the bush on our property on the weekend. I think he was probably tracking deer and eating deer poop. He didn't come back right away but I could see him. I think he wasn't coming back because he was full of burrs! He wasn't thrilled about having them removed.

Thank you for all your POTP, thoughts and prayers for the Big Guy. He is holding his own. For those who asked it was an abdominal aorta aneurysm.

ReplyDeletePOTP for the Big Guy. He's very lucky to survive that. An abdominal aorta aneurysm killed our nephew at age 17. I hope your Big Guy makes a complete recovery.

We scotties don't like those burrs pulled out either. Some seasons, it is a loooonnnng job.
ReplyDeleteOh Phod a small price to pay for a little fun with deer poop. We're glad to hear the Big Guy is doing well and are keeping our paws crossed for him.
ReplyDeleteIt's all fun and games until the peeps bring out the comb.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Ouch!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the big guy is holding his own. I used to have a Samoyed when I lived on a small farm many years ago, and he'd occasionally escape and come back completely covered in burrs.
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you the removal. Keeping your family in my thoughts.
L.
I'm so glad that the big guy is holding his own. Poor Phod - that's no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteThose burrs are the worst thing for matting up your fur. We affens don't get too many but the schnauzers are always picking them up in their leg hair and beards! Paws crossed for the Big Guy - nose licks and love from Moth xx
