We have jokingly called Phod our German Shedder. This fall he has blown his coat in a way he never has before. Even with brushing him every day, our floors are covered with Phod. He is a good boy and will tolerate about 10-15 minutes of brushing at a time.
Here are some examples of how much hair we can get from him during a brushing block:

The next day |
that's enough for a hat :o) and not even the coldest canadian winter can bother you with a phod-cap :O)

That's a lot of fur! I believe you have Phod all over the floors! I think it's amazing how much fur can come off a dog when they blow coat.
ReplyDeleteOur pawrents remember those days of blowing coats well. They used to have 3 GSD's in the house at one time and boy could it get hairy.
