See Beautiful and Dui Advice

Today is a busy day in Blogville.

First we will See Beautiful.

Here Barley is taking the time to see the beauty in what the humans would take to see as weeds.
It is reminder that everything is beautiful if you take the time to look at it.

Today is also advice for Dui the puppy.

We never lived with our current people as puppies, so this is more general dog behaviour advise:

1. Master the art of sad eyes. Sad eyes opens the world to possibilities beyond your knowing.

2. Take time to stop and pee on everything. The more things you pee on the better.

3. Only do the tricks they are asking you to do if they pay well enough (aka the cookies are awesome).
If they aren't, strike, refuse to do it.

4. Make sure to check out how much stuffing is in each and every toy. There is scientific merit to this.

5. The best big holes are dug in the middle of the yard.

Welcome to Blogville Dui! We wish you a life of great adventure!

    Great message..."take time"...appreciate...

Great message to Dui too. He shouldn't have a problem with "refuse if not paid" either. My Human is half Scottish and she can be very stubborn.

    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  11. You are so right about the weeds! At least, I hope you are, because my garden is full of them, and some of them are very pretty.
Great advice for Dui! I think you hit on all of the important puppy things.

  12. Great tips guys. Especially about the sad eyes. Shiner has definitely mastered that one!

  13. Great advice. I've started a hole, but it's in the WRONG place. Sort of the side of the garden. I'll have to fix that! And I've already de-stuffed a few toys (Roxy showed me how). I'm just finding out how hard it is to train a human, Thanks for all your advice.

    XXXOOO Macdui

  14. Yes, weeds are Beautiful. We've seen many weeds have Beautiful flowers. Golden Laughs on the 5th advise :-) Happy Seeing Beauty. Golden Woofs

  15. Excellent advice, especially about peeing everywhere!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  16. That was some sound advise for Dui. Good job!

    Aroo to you,

  17. Oh, you sure give some pawsome advice. I kept shaking my head thinking "that's a good one, oh, and that's a good one, too". I think you covered all the bases!

  18. It is true that weeds are beautiful too. I recently heard of a campaign working to discourage the killing of dandelions because the poor endangered bees love them. Wilhelm, Brychwyn and Huxley agree with your tip about the holes- right in the middle!

  19. Wonderful See Beautiful and Terrierific advice for little Dui!
    Happy weekend!

  20. I agree, even weed can be beautiful and it's strong it grows even on places we never expected :o) To pee on everything is important... the rule of Mr. Shakespeare "to pee or not to pee..." is dated :o)

  21. Top tips, especially the strike if the treats aren't good enough!
