Nature Friday - Our Tree

This was our tree before Lady and Man left. This picture was taken September 25.

Here it was on October 23rd when they came home.

We missed the peak of fall but are enjoying the last little bit of it before that white stuff falls!

I watched the tree over the road from me change from almost green to total orange and quite a bit leafless in the span of ten days... Nature is amazing!!! I love that you have one special tree to keep track of the seasons - and the years - by. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. That is quite a transformation. With the high winds most of the leaves are off our trees now.

  5. Love the tree - both the September and the October version.
We saw the first new snow of the season on the tops of the Scottish mountains as we drove across to Torridon this afternoon.

  6. Very pretty even if you just got the tail end of its beauty.

  7. That's how most of our trees looked until the big wind blew in last night and blasted most of the leaves away. Enjoy the colors while you can!

  11. Dear friends,

Nature changes fast, doesn't it? Are there any interesting critters living in your tree?

  13. Hardly any leaves left on my trees after the winds we had. Sure hope we don't get snow for a while yet.

  14. It's a pretty tree! Is it maple? Each season seems to pass faster than the one before. Fall is a favorite for me...Or is that spring?
