It has been unseasonably warm here. I believe I saw that it hasn't been this warm in September for so many days since the 1940s. Given the fact we had the coldest winter on record, we will take it!
I was working from home yesterday. I went to take the dogs out for a late morning play. Out the front door we go and my lazy girl plunks herself down in the sun. It took a lot of coaxing to get her in the grass so it was easier for me to play ball with Phod. What a silly girl!

Arty has actually taken over the outside slider and claimed it as his "couch". Sometimes the sun is just too alluring!!

Even when it is hot, I still lay in the sun first. I do love getting myself some vitamin D! BOL

Sometimes it just feels good to be in the sun. My black dog Lilah does it sometimes, and I swear it should be too hot for her, but she's smart enough to move when it gets too hot.

I turned the AC off this past weekend, it's a little warm upstairs now but we'll survive.
ReplyDeleteSampson loves to lie in the sun, but not when there's a chance at a walk!
ReplyDeleteBailey loves to lie in the sun, sometimes I have to make him move to the shade. I think we are on the downside of hot weather, still nice but not hot

ReplyDeleteDear Ojo's Cousin Lee,
ReplyDeleteThe people do not understand how hot sun feels good on our fur and bones, do they? We both know that soon Winter will come, and then there will be no hot sun for a very long time. So you're soaking it up while you can! Who wants to lie in the grass when you could lie on the hot porch? Silly humans.
Licks,
Cobi
Its just fun to chill and relax!!

Yeah, I agree with the others. Hailey has the right idea. Why not just soak in the sun? Heaven knows, those of us in northern latitudes need to be storing up some rays in preparation for the winter to come.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
We think sun baking is more fun. It'll be too cold soon, so Hailey is right.
