 It was hot and I was so excited to be spending Father's Day with Grammie and the Big Guy! 

Mischief Monday -A Whole Lot Of Trouble

 First, there was thunder last week, and even though Man was home, somehow this happened.

Then the power was out for11 hours (starting in the night because of rain) and even when it came back, some of us were terrified. 

Then Lady and Man went out for dinner in a private skylight chalet. They look like this.

They had a wonderful time. 

Fireworks started before they got home. Harry Potter (the second time Harry has been a victim) and Death of a Saleman needed to not exist.

It is suppose to storm today. Both peeps are home. 🤞🤞🤞 we behave!

Here are some wild flowers from our yard. Lad is impressed with how everything keeps growing despite the dry conditions.

Postal Problems

Like 2 years ago Canada Post said we were getting a new mailbox. They sent keys. Lady kept the keys. Last week, with no warning a new box showed up. Lady's key didn't fit in any of the slots. She and Man tried many times. It was so boring to watch.

Turns out the keys then sent 8700 years ago weren't for this box and they had made a mistake in not giving us new keys. We were able to pick the new keys up at the grocery store the next day. Give Lady's online shopping problem, it is good it was only a problem for one day!

Mischief Monday - Intruder!

 Dear pals,

On Friday our terrible internet died. Man spent a long time on the phone and they determined we needed a new modem. The Man drove the 45 minutes one way to pick up the modem. The new modem didn't work.

Man spent probably another 2 hours on the phone with them to determine it was not the modem but the line. They were able to send a tech the next day.

First this tech parked in our driveway. 

Then he walked around the house and did stuff in the yard.

Finally he came in and brought another new modem. We barked at him a lot but we're too scared to go downstairs to see him.

He was able to give us back our terrible internet and give some hints on how we maybe able to get slightly better internet. Apparently by the end of 2022 we will be able to get the best internet. Fingers crossed. 

After all that barking we had a fantastic nap. After more than 450 days of lockdown, it was a lot!
