Tuesday's with Tigris - Sharing with Lanie

Styx did a good enough job catching you up on our lives.

He did miss saying, the store that supplies my food (which by the way is never enough and this being on a diet thing sucks), sent home a little treat bag to celebrate their 5th anniversary. In it was this ball. I love this ball. It has a little bell in it. Thank you Chico.

Being the kind cat I am, I thought I would give my day to  Jack-O-Lanie, who had her spay yesterday.

Dear readers - I am a very unhappy cat and I feel a little off. It started when the wardens stuck me in a carrier again. They gave me meds to chill, but I wasn't as chill as they would like.  It took a lot to get me in the carrier (mainly because I refused to leave my window, so I was up high. However, no one was injured this time.

Then there was the vehicle and being put on a scale and put back in the carrier and then I am not sure what happened, but I woke up in a cage. My wardens came and got me and realized I was missing bloodwork, so I went back to the back for more poking before finally being transported home to my cell. The vet people said I did well.

While I was out the Lady warden took it upon herself to freshen up my cell. She cleaned it and re-arranged it better.  I don't know if I like change, but she is happier with it.

When she let me out of my crate, I let her pet me for the first time. She nearly cried to get to touch me.

FYI I am super soft

When she came to check on me an hour after my return, I had removed my cone and she has no idea how she is getting it back on. She just might not.

I need to sleep now.

Lanie, the kidnapped cat

Editor's note:
In her blood panel, everything is within normal. We are waiting for results from feline leukaemia and HIV (they forgot to run those panels).
She goes back in a week for some boosters.
She will be staying on a low dose of gabapentin
In a few weeks, we will arrange for the cat expert to give us a consult to help her adapt to indoor life.

  2. I'm glad to hear everything went well for Lanie's operation. My paws are crossed that the cat expert can help her to enjoy life indoors.
