Thanks to Aunty-Yam for hosting Final Fiction Friday and Rosy for hosting Nature Friday.
As we have mentioned, Lady is a bit obsessed with her attempts at gardening. One of the items on her 22 in 22 list was to try and grow something to eat outside.
Here we are sniffing around - far more interesting than Lady's garden |
She went to a market and asked what would be the easiest thing to grow outside, what was she least likely to kill. The woman who was helping her, looked a little like a deer in headlights. Lady is sure she thought Lady was weird, but Lady did not care. In the end the woman and the guy helping her, picked a zucchini plant for Lady. So far, so good.

We hope your plant produces lots of zucchini for you! There are so many recipes out there using zucchini!
ReplyDeleteWe hope your zucchini grows big and gives you lots and lots, and that the deer don't eat it too.
ReplyDeleteYou'd better not chew on it! Or pee on it!!
ReplyDeleteThe zucchini plant is looking very healthy. We hope you get lots of production from it. Mom loves zucchini bread.

Zucchini is easy to grow and will provide some tasty squash in late summer. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI guess this isn't the place to tell you I have six cucumber plants that appeared in the pasture, the sheep have left them alone, and they are currently blossoming... setting fruit. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a popular exercise. Mom is also trying to grow food for the first time in her life! On our balcony there is suddenly a tomato plant and a pepper plant in pots. Yesterday, she picked a red pepper and ATE IT! Food is growing. It's voodoo!
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
I hope the Lady gets lots of zucchinis from that plant.
