Thanks to Rosy for hosting this hop.
There was some excitement in the hills last week when this unidentified foul has spent about a week living between our house and the neighbours. It was posted on the missing animal site. Bird is our new neighbour.

ReplyDeleteThat, my dears, is a White Pheasant... an escapee for sure! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Maybe the owners will reclaim their White Pheasant soon.
ReplyDeleteI think Chester would be chasing that big birdie!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt Yamini is correct, but one can always send images to a wonderful site called WHAT'S THIS BIRD and be assured of an accurate identification. Just google it for the link.
ReplyDeleteShe/he is quite pretty and likely an escapee!
He better be careful as his white feathers have him clearly standing out and not camouflaged at all.
ReplyDeleteYep Molly lets hope the fowl doesn't come to a foul ending?

Whoa...somebody bleached that bird.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual bird. We think Yam might be on to something. It's surprising someone isn't looking for it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute new neighbor bird! We hope he finds his way back home soon!
ReplyDeleteCool looking burd. I wonder how long he'd last here with the wolves, coyotes and Kozmo! Cinnamon LOVES her new frisbee! We posted a video and everything!
ReplyDeleteOoooooo! Yummy!!!! Um...I means....what a nice burdie! do you thinks I could be his furiend?????? 🤤
ReplyDeleteKisses,

I would guess some kind of pheasant.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Wow - I hope it stays safe! Just like our white kitty, it needs to do a better job at camouflage.
