Mischief Monday - Abandoned - by Phod

 Dear Pals,

The most horrible thing happened on Saturday. Both my people left me for 2 87 million hours. It was the longest 2 87 million hours of my life. While I have accepted that Lady leaves 2 days a week (and frankly her being gone does allow me to have some time off from my guard duty) and Man leaves once a week for a short time, I do not think it is acceptable for them to be gone together for any time. I got myself so worked up about it, I threw up.

It was Saturday afternoon nap time when they got back and I was forced to join the nap and sleep right up against the Man to make sure he was safe and to keep an eye on Lady.

Lady said when this pandemic ends I may be the one who needs medication. I think she just needs to make sure one of them is always home. It is not that unreasonable.

  4. We totally agree with you, Phod. It's only right to always have a human at home with us at all times.

  9. This sounds totally doable to me, Phod. One hooman ALWAYS needs to be home with you!

  10. We are the same way, Phod. It does bother us a lot when both peeps are gone at the same time. Like you, we are lucky that doesn't happen very often. Hope you feel better soon, Phod.

  11. If you sit on your humans all the time, Phod, they can never leave.

  12. Oh Phod, please get a grip! Consider yourself fortunate that there is almost always at least one person, plus of course a canine companion, in your household. If perchance both humans do disappear, take a leaf out of my book and just curl up in a ball on the sofa and sleep until they reappear. Believe me, it's quite easy once you get in practice.
