Mischief Monday - Patiently Waiting - by Phod

 Dear pals,

Last week we talked a lot about the conditions at the pet sitter's and how hard that was. Maybe it was an ok place to be, but it was definitely not home. And I will give our sitter credit, she did not make the most horrible things happen, like going to the vet. We were hardly home when our people loaded us into the car and took us for our Librela shots.  Apparently we were a week late.

Because we both have to go, Lady has been making us evening appointments so we can all go, as she says 1:1 is easier.

The night we were there was busy and we had to sit in different spots.

This gave me the opportunity to explore some, while I waited and waited and waited for my turn.

I have never sat over here before:

What do you mean I can't hide in the bathroom, while I wait?

I may have opened the door

Why are Man and Lee way, way, way over there?

Finally, we are all sitting together.

Hmmm, I sure smells good over here.

After waiting 87 million hours (probably 20 minutes), it was our turn. There was a bit of a mix up because they hadn't book Lee in for her shot, but they were happy to give it to her. They warmed it up for her and she seemed happier with it.

While the process of this is sucky, and we don't like going, Lady reminds us we are the lucky ones who have really good outcomes on it. It is helping us live the best golden years possible.

Apparently, we are due again this week (the time has gone by so fast). I hope it isn't too snowy.

Your pal, Phod who isn't in much pain

FFF Nature Friday - Autumn

It is an exciting day, it is Aunty-Yam's FFF and Rosy and Sunny's Nature Friday.

We will start with some nature. While the leaves are long gone, you may have noticed Lady posted a lot fewer this year. She didn't think it was as pretty as some years. The colours were more brown. Someone told her it was because we had too much rain.

Now our FFF - from an autumn morning

The sky glows in pink
The cool air smells of decay
The days are too short

Thankful Thursday - Happy Thanksgiving American Friends

Today we send a happy Thanksgiving to all our American pals.

Recently, what we were most thankful for, was the return of our people. We were so excited.

We hope all our pals find things to be grateful for today. We are grateful for all of you!

Travel Tuesday - Man's 50th Birthday Trip - Day 1 - Barcelona

At the end of October of this year, Lady, Man, and Uncle Chris headed off to Europe for Man's 50th birthday trip. Over the coming weeks, we are allowing them to share their adventures.

The trip started on October 21, with the flight from Ottawa to Paris and then Paris to Barcelona.

The following are pictures from our first day of just wandering around Barcelona.

In the lounge waiting for take off! (Lady and Man flew busines class)

This is Lady's favourite picture of herself - she may have pushed small children out of the way to get a turn. Look at the face of the people behind her!

This is some famous folklore character - a boy pooping

A grave marker in a church

Geese living in a church

For the night before the cruise, we all shared a room. Lady called this the 3 little bear's room

We hope you enjoyed a random stroll through Barcelona. Next week we will share a tour in Barcelona.

Michief Monday - The Pet Sitter

 Dear pals,

While Lady and Man were off adventuring we had to endure the pet sitter. We think this photographic evidence will support our claims that this was a very hard time for us.

First we had to ensure the 1.5 hour car ride to her house.

Are we there yet?

Then we had to share the house with the sitter's dog Laddie.

Then we had to sleep on Laddie's beds.

Sometimes we had to sleep on the couch.

We hd to endure love.

And more love.

There was more sleeping on comfy beds.

It was so rough, some dog, whose name starts with Zay - tried to dig his way out by digging up all of the sitter's bulb.

As you can see, it was really hard. (Wednesday we will share some more of our hardships in pictures).

your pals, Lee and Phod

Editor's note: While Lee and Phod may feel hard done by, Lady and Man had 0 concerns about the care the pups received with our most wonderful pet sitter. If anything they worry they got better care!

Mischief Monday - Did You Miss Us?

 Dear pals,

Hi! Did you miss us?

We have so many adventures to tell you about, but it has to wait another week, because Lady is too busy now that she is back (work, tickets to shows, painting classes, dinners with friends).

We will give you a 2 cent update with details to come.

We were pretty good at the dog sitters and not too hard done by.

Checking out the pet sitter's hood

Lady and Man and Uncle Chris had a wonderful time away. We are going to let Lady have one day a week on the blog starting next week to tell you about it. Lady and Man got really sick when they came back. Man was really, really sick. Lady was moderately sick. This made catching up to life and work harder. Everyone is on the mend now.

We just wanted to let you know we are all well and hope to be back to our regular schedule next week.

Your pals, who miss you all, Lee and Phod
