Thanks to Rosy for hosting this even.
One of the most frequent visitors to our feeders are the Blue Jays. Our record a few years ago for the most at one time was 15. Now, we seem to often have 2 or 3 around the feeders.
Here are a few pictures of them.
More jays will be shared later!
Also a garden update - Lady is about to have her first open sunflowers and her first harvested zucchini! Stay tuned!
oooh one even waved at us ... how cool!

What great pictures you captured with your spy camera. The other bird on the feeder in the second picture looks like a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
ReplyDeleteHow cool!! We used to love seeing blue jays in Texas...but we don't have any here(and didn't in California either). We do have some downy woodpeckers though. Mama is trying to get pictures of them!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Lady's green thumb this year!

We had a glitch with Nature Fridays post today, but it's live now :-)
We love the blue jays. There's a family of them who live in the neighborhood and show up at the feeders occasionally.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty tails those blue jays have. Almost as fine as mine!
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!
