Out on the deck watching for the birds |
The week Lady was sick, she didn't get out to her feeder (she could barely get out of bed). When she did go out to fill them up she found this:
Looks like someone was not happy with the service. A new feeder has been ordered!
ThanksRosy and the Boyz for hosting Nature Friday!
like always the hooligans are everywhere even at a feeder ;O) is that a plushy mr. poop in the window?
ReplyDeleteHow not nice. This ruins meals for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI can't see my feeder but I can watch the birds flit in and out of the cedar hedge to get to it.
ReplyDeleteWe bet it was the evil squirrel cartel that chewed that hole in your feeder.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who made that big hole in your feeder? A squirrel or a wood pecker? It was nice to see all of your birdies!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering if a wood pecker did that or an angry squirrel? I just looked up and saw the same answer but I am not changing. it is what I thought

ReplyDeleteOOoohhh, another sick one - that's a pair of us then! Just starting to get the better of it. I think. Wow, yes, I am inclinced to think that might be the tree rats at work! YAM xx
Dang I don't think I have ever had a fine feather friend eat through the plastic...at least I'm guessing it was a bird since you have the anti squirrel around the feeder.
ReplyDeleteYikes. Lady is well and all is right with the world
Hugs Cecilia
I hope you are feeling much better.... and we feed the squirrels, too, here.
ReplyDeleteWonder what vandal ruined the feeder...mysterious. LOVE Lee's 'on guard' stance.
ReplyDeleteSheesh, they could have just filled out a comment card! Mama says she needs to get feeders up in our backyard!
ReplyDeletexoxo,

We hope the Lady is feeling much better. We know the birds will be happy for that too:)
ReplyDeleteWoos, Lightning and Timber
I bet it wuz a squirrel.
ReplyDeleteI hope Lady is feeling better and service is resuming!
ReplyDeleteI bought a feeder late last year that is supposed to be "squirrel proof" and they'll replace it for free if one of those little buggers damages it. So far, they haven't. But it's only because I kept the receipt! :-)
Take care, and be well my friend!
How sharper than a serpent's tooth a persnickety customer!
