Sunday, it looked like a hurricane had gone through the upstairs living area, and it had, because Hurricane Emma (and Uncle Chris) had come for the weekend.
Emma getting some love |
We think it was a waste of perfectly good bits and pieces of toys. But we are not going to complain too loudly as Santa may be listening and we hope he will see how good we were about losing the best pieces of toys and how empty our boxes are now and bring us lots and lots of new things.
We hope none of your peeps get the same idea . . . .

ReplyDeleteOMD that was rash of Lady - better to wait and see what arrives first... it might be such a haul that you then don't notice all the 'litter' being removed!!! hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
oooh that means you will get lots of toys for christmas, so you need room with sending to old ones on a howl-i-day ;O)
ReplyDeleteOh nose, not the dreaded toy cull!!!!
ReplyDeleteRight, if its that time of year I'm gonna hide my stuffies so the peeps can't find them!!!!
Loves and licky kisses

We sure hope Santa Paws brings you lots of stuffies to make up for the lost ones.
ReplyDeleteOh. Oh, I can see that happening here. Thanks for the warning!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Oh no! I hope Santa brings you lots of new toys to replace the ones that got trashed.
ReplyDeleteThe collies are really good to their toys (mostly) so we have way too many. We have washed some and donated them to the local animal shelter. But they weren't really appreciated. So I'm not sure what to do!
ReplyDeleteI love my old, beat up, shredded toys the best! Some of them are only bits of rags, but they're still my favorites!
ReplyDeleteThat scene occurs here every night. Misty and Timber have a little game they play with each other. When one has a toy/bone/antler that the other wants, the other goes to the toybox and drags out a different item. Then sits a few feet away from the one with the desired item so that eventually that one gets up to come get the new item. This routine gets repeated over and over by each of them until the family room is just a complete mess of toys, bones, balls, antlers, blankets, etc,
ReplyDeleteMom said something here too about the purging of the toy collection.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
OMD your Mom has been talking to my Mom because she does this too.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you have some new toys on your wish list for Santa Paws.
♥ Astro and Mitzie
Peeps just don't know which toys have a bit of chew still left in them. But you're right, keeping them all might mean less toys for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteLets hope Santa gets the message!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if my Mom does that too? My stuffed caterpillar that had a zillion squeekers in it suddenly disappeared along with the little fox that was leaking stuffing.
ReplyDeleteAbby Lab
Oh no don't give our mom any ideas. We hope the Lady was just making room for all the new toys that Santa will bring

(sigh) during the remodeling our toys got culled, we have our paws crossed that Santa will take pity on us and bring us some new ones.
ReplyDeleteNew toys are always welcome. No doubt Santa Paws has some for you in his bag.
