Last winter we (by we I really mean me, the Lady and sometimes the Man goes with us) took up snowshoeing. We are lucky we can go right out our door. We have our 3 acres and we have access to our neighbours land behind us. There is a trail (it is about 1km or .6 miles) we can explore. Last weekend we all went out, which meant I could take a few pictures/

That looks like fun!!! It's great that snowshoes making hiking possible even in deep snow! I have to admit that I don't love snowshoes - I see them as a "necessary evil" but they do make the forest accessible in winter! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great trip! We love to snowshoe but we haven't been able to get out yet this winter to do some. We'll probably miss out this season since we're dealing with house stuff, have fun for us!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful, snowy place to go for walkies! We only have enough snow to cover the grass right now. Ghostwriter says that's OK. But I wish we had more.
ReplyDeletegreat that you can go right from home :) too bad that Phod doesn't enjoy it as much as the rest of you!
ReplyDeleteWe love snowshoeing, but the conditions have not been very good here this winter so far. We are hoping since we just got some fresh snow to get out and explore our woods more this coming weekend!
