Happy New Year's Eve

Well readers, pals, family and friends, 2015 is about to end. We can't believe how fast this year has gone! We are spending a quiet evening at home. In part because we are recovering from the first major snow storm (about 30 cm/ 12 inches) and 50 hours with a 19 month old (more about both next week), and because there is no better place to ring in the New Year than in our home. Lady says she is going to try and stay up until midnight - we think she will be lucky to see 10:30.

However you spend tonight, from the bottom of our hearts:

May 2016 bring you healthy and happiness!

  10. Cozy New Years celebrations at home are the BEST! We had enough of going out to parties, we stopped a few years ago and we enjoy the evening so much more now. Plus we wouldn't want to leave Daisy alone during her recuperation on a night when there's bound to be some firework noises. Oh and by the way, could you please send some snow out here to us? All we've had is rain and we want a good snowfall! :) Happy New Year to you all!

  27. Happy New Year to all of you! We had a (mostly) quiet evening at home too, as is our preference as well...and the only reason I saw 11pm was because the neighbors set off a couple fireworks at that time! (they had set off the majority around 9:30, so I was snuggling a shaking beagle under the covers at that time).
