On our first walk of the year through the bush behind our house, the pups, who were coupled together, got wrapped around a tree. I just waited them out and my smart girl figured out how to get out of it!
Good job letting them figure it out for themselves! Our beagle Kobi knew the command "back around" when he wrapped himself around something, but the girls don't quite get it. I haven't used a coupler for a while....I'm sure they'd have no trouble getting themselves tangled around stuff, but I'm not sure if either one would figure out how to get out of it!
lovely b&w of you both!! Your assistant is very good at finding just the right place to snap. mol mol at Frankie's May pole. That Doxie is all about part-ees hugs madi your bfff
you would be waiting until the cows came home if that was Denny - he will standing there forever not even trying to figure it out. Reilly has it all figured out - he know exactly what side of the tree to pass on.

ReplyDeleteBaaaaWaaaah that is grrrrreat... it is fun to get wrapped up together and then UNWIND... like dancing round a MAY POLE. RIGHT???
ReplyDeleteSo glad you let them figure it out. I do the same with my dogs. I'm curious, though: how long did it take?

LOL Frankie's comment re the May Pole.
ReplyDeleteHave a serene Sunday and let us all enjoy some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
That looks like a longish coupler. I use a shorter one that links to the dogs' haltis, but they can still wind up on either side of an object.
