Nature Friday - Contest Update And A Surprise

First, we join Blogville in wishing Marg a very happy birthday!

Here is our flower for Marg! Thanks Rosy for hosting this.

--------------------------------------
Now onto the When Will The Snow Be Gone Contest.

This weeks guessers, LLB Gang, Gemma's Person and Cecilia were so close but as of 5:30 last night . . .

the front yard is now officially snow free,

but the side and backyard still have some snow.

Will the temperatures be warm enough to melt the snow on or before Susan's guess of April 10, or will Marv and friends have the closest guess without going over on April 19?

Only time will tell! We are just excited that this is the earliest spring we have had recently!

  12. We are certain we're not going to win based on the forecast for above freezing temps. That's good for you to have your snow gone so early in the season though.

  14. Snow in shady spots is very tenacious!!
I see you are Canadian...as I am, though since 1987, living in Michigan...gotta go where the hubby is...well, if you are old fashioned like me. LOL!
Today I took my car in for service, and I have a Canadian flag plate on the front...and I handed the receptionist my keys...and there are three Canadian flags on that. Hmmm, I must be trying to make a statement! LOL!

You sure have some pretty flowers.
Marg will enjoy them so much!
Happy Birthday to our friend, Marg!!

  16. Your snow may be gone now but I'm hoping the weather forecast calling for some later this week is fulfilled. We are desperate for some spring moisture.
