Dear Pals,
I was minding my own business on Saturday, guarding the Lady as she rested after her vaccine when Man came in, closed the door and cleaned my ears.
My ears have been very sore and I have been doing a lot of itching and head shaking, however, I still feel this treatment is unnecessary and it completely ruined my nap.
we hear ya... that procedure ruins not only da nap it can mess up da whole day...
ReplyDeleteBeau just had his cleaned, he loves to be messed with, but then his are not sore, they just had black dirt in them.. since he lays in sand and dirt and the same stuff flies about his head when he chases his ball, we have to clean them a lot.. good thing you have a daddy to take care of you

I hope the treatment helps, despite the discomfort of getting it. Having had cocker spaniels for so long, I'm well acquainted with ear problems.

ReplyDeleteYou know what Phod? If you hadn't pointed out how your nap had been ruined, we might have thought that photo showed how much Man loves you, and that he was showing his love by trying to tend to your itchy ears.

It's no fun having itchy ears but it's also no fun to have them cleaned either. We do hope you are feeling better despite having to endure such torture, Phod.

ReplyDeleteI think Man was very rude to clean your ears in a sneak attack. I do not have a bit of trouble with my ears, and Mom cleans them whenever she feels like it! RUDE!

ReplyDeleteGosh! Poor Phod! We actually LIKE getting our ears cleaned. A couple of years ago we all got ear mites! We kept passing it back and forth! Our ears were really itchy and it took several rounds (and about 8 weeks) of mite remover stuff before we got rid of them. We still come running when we see Q-Tips! We hope you feel better soon Phod!
