Nature Friday - Attack of the Birds

After last weeks turkey leg removal, Lady was not thrilled when last Wednesday, when she was working at home all day and the Man was at work and then going out to the Kiss concert that a silly bird made it into the fireplace.

As she stopped taping before the end, know it ended happily with the bird finding the open patio door and flying away. She did not have to pick up a dead bird!

She is hoping next week's Nature Friday will be about something other than birds lol!

  1. oh how great that the bird is still alive... we had a dove once there and it escaped too but the damage from easy on dove hunt was spectacular.... we have a protection now on the chimneys... but wow I turned into a dove too as I saw the bill... into a mourning dove LOL

  3. A long time ago my ghostwriter worked at a hospital that was is a very old building. One night there was a bat fluttering up and down the hallway. She had to throw a sheet over it, and the other nurse then hit it with a broom. They were very sad they had to kill it, but they really couldn't let it loose inside a hospital!

  12. Thank goodness he found the way out. Jeesh! That is scary! Your mama was very brave the whole time. I'm pretty sure my mom would've moved out and burned the house down.

    Love and licks,
