Hi friends, hi friends, hi friends,
I am delayed in giving this thanks because the Lady, who is the controller of the purse was a bit delayed in her part of this. I hope this post makes up for the delay!
Cecilia won my "When will the Snow be Gone" contest and was generous and donated her prize to the charity of our choice in memory of Hailey and Zaphod. We love, so, so, so many charities that help animals, but in the end, Lady made a donation to the Ottawa Paw Pantry. Thank you Cecilia for letting us help feed animals in need.
Now, to make up for this delay, Lady thought we could say sorry by share us wearing some costumes she found in the Paw Pantry storage unit when cleaning it out. She bought them in the "pre-sale" for an upcoming garage sale. These are dog costumes. Lady laughed so hard she cried.
We hope this makes up for the delay.
Thanks again Cecilia for your generosity.
Styx, who is now hiding with the girls

ooh you could open your own stage play company... nemo and the unicorn played by cats... that would be a blockbuster, we bet!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Lady found Nemo! We think your taxes are pretty high this year, we think you should apply for a refund BOL

ReplyDeleteWell done on the donation... and for - quite literally - wearing the shame of late response! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Paw Pantry is one of my very favorite charities! Thank you for introducing it to me. I recently exchanged emails etc. with one of the volunteers. It is a fabulous charity, entirely volunteer-run. I am happy Cecilia chose them.
ReplyDeletethat was Fay
ReplyDeleteOH CATS if I had known Lady was torturing you with body suits I would have sent you a oneway
ReplyDeleteTicket of Raleigh. Thinking back on the hat tax angels Lee and Phod had to pay...I think that was better than a full body suit tax. YIKES. You are most certainly welcomed for the donation. I know many shelters are struggling with food and supply money
Lovingly Cecilia
PS tell Lady I owe her an email
That was very generous and thoughtful of Cecilia to donate her winnings to charity. Sorry to see you had to pay the costume tax because of it though.
ReplyDeleteThat was sweet of Cecilia. You both look adorable. XO
ReplyDeleteThat was very sweet and thoughtful of Miss Cecilia and you guys do not look too happy in your costumes!
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! Hurray for helping animals in need! Also, when those costume-things got put on you, did you immediately lose all ability to walk or move?
ReplyDeleteWhat a kind thing, to donate to a good cause.
ReplyDeleteAs for the costumes, well, they are kinda cute.
