We had an invasion on the weekend. Callie came over. A dog was in our house, a dog, a dog! Fortunately, she liked being here less than we liked her here, so it was only for a short period of time.

But there was a bad thing about this too. This meant Lady and Man were gone more than I would have liked. You see, Lady and Man were taking care of Callie and her cats for the weekend. They, especially Lady went next door a lot. They didn't want Callie to be alone for too long at a time.

I don't think I liked how much of Lady's attention was given to other animals. I was so mad, I even slept at her feet for the first time.
I hope we don't have to share Lady with Callie and her cats any time soon.

ReplyDeleteAww, it's good to share, even for a short time. You know no one can replace you but a short borrow should be ok. Glad your mum wears a bright orange safety vest now that the days are getting shorter. Safety First...is a good thing. Happy Monday.

It was nice of Lady and Man to care for Callie and her cats, but I can see how you wouldn't like having Callie in your house.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had to have a dog around, but think about how awful it is when your people go away and someone else has to take care of you. It's nice when the people taking care of you are good ones, like your Lady. She made those cats and the dog feel better while their parents were gone.
ReplyDeletePetcretary has one of those safety vests too, cause out in rural areas, poeeps need to see us when we walk, sidewalks are not everywhere.
ReplyDeleteSorry that your Man and Lady cheated on you, but at least they were not gone overnight like the peeps she was helping. YOU got to stay home...Callie might be OK, she lives with kitties so she might even like you!
