First we check in with our snow:
Yesterday was April 21, Susan's guess.
Sadly, there is still one spot of snow in the backyard. Sorry Susan!
Next guess is Millie and Walter's guess for the 25th. Lady says she thinks it should be gone by then, mind you we got snow this week once so who knows! We are just grateful that June's July 4th guess looks like it will be very wrong! Stay tuned!

As we mentioned, while Man was away we did a lot of walking. A lot of it was in the woods. Lady hopes she will continue this new habit (although bug season may not be as much fun!)

Lady just noticed this tree on our property by the entrance to the bush. At the top it is 2 trees,
We hope next week to have some more colour to share. While most of the snow is gone, spring has not fully sprung here!
June is, of course, disappointed ... but your walk in the woods is lovely and perfect for Earth Day (today) ... and the "Love Tree", well it is just right for upcoming Arbor Day!

ReplyDeleteOMD! We've been playing your snow game for a long time and didn't think we would ever get close to being right. Our paws are crossed that the snow is gone soon. Not just for us but for you so you know spring has finally sprung. Those woods look like a beautiful place to take a hike.

ReplyDeleteThe love tree is so cool and we love mushrooms and fungus. They are just as pretty and intricate as any flower.
ReplyDeleteOur snow is finally gone, even the parking lot mountains! Hooray! Hope things warm up for you so your snow goes away too.

ReplyDeleteCinnamon wants you to know that there was even more snow up the hill when we went to the big city yesterday. It was snowing on Wednesday when we went to Salmon Arm and it looks like all the rain we had here on Thursday was snow up there! She was most happy to eat some when we stopped at the rest stop so she could have a walk. We are happy that none "stuck" at our hose, Mom says it might get warm enough to do some yard work today! We LOVE your heart tree! Purrs Marv
