your low noon is gorgeous! here we have Xtra High Noon... our son is blazing hot in the sky at noon and even in our cooler months a car is a danger in the sun.
I remember those "low noon" days when we lived in Alaska. It would be dark by about 4:30, after the sun popped up at around 10:30. Those cold short days were tough!
And here in Northern Scotland, it is even lower. Basement noon?
