Thanks to Rosy for hosting Nature Friday.
As we mentioned Monday, we had a bit of a blizzard. The city of Ottawa, our closest major city reported almost 50 cm/20 inches in one day. All the things were closed including Lady's work. Our our way, in the hills, we got at least 35 cm/14 inches. Lady measured it with the tape measure. And by the time you read this we may have gotten another 10-15 cm/4-6 inches. Lady says wake her in April!
Here are some pictures from Monday and Tuesday:
Beautiful blog

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I wanna come play in the snow at your house!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE SNOW DOGS just plowing on through and the ground being cleared and the dog walker following. Most of all I enjoyed all the stunning snow pics, with sun and trees and lots of gorgeous snow. but I don't have to feel the cold, just enjoy yours

Wow that is a lot of snow. Where to put it all? If only you could send some over here to Scotland. Not all 20 inches, you understand, but just enough so that Gail could try out the new cross country skis which she took delivery of at the end of March last year, on almost exactly on the same day that the last of the snow here disappeared!
ReplyDeleteHappy Nature Friday.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Beautiful tree photo! Bertie took the words out of my mouth: That is A Lot of Snow! Haven't heard yet from family in Williamsburg. They must be snowed under, as well.
ReplyDeleteWe got a lot of snow here is WNY this week too. It took us two days to completely shovel out the driveway!
ReplyDeleteHope you pups and your peeps stay warm!
We love seeing your tree covered in snow!! Mama says she won't complain about the 20F(-6C) morning temeratures in New Mexico then, at least there is no snow!

Your yard looks a lot like ours. It's nice that your dad snow blows some paths for you.
ReplyDeleteSnow on the belly! Yikes. That is where I draw the line. You kids are very brave! That's A LOT of snow.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
You two pups are having such fun in that snow! It makes me smile to see you running through it! If nothing else, at least the Lady got a vacation day from the snow. I'm glad for that.
ReplyDeleteGreat winter photos, but I'm ready for snow to be gone.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
My goodness! That was quite the storm. Here in Denver we received whopping 15-20 flakes along with some chilly temps. The mountains received a few inches, but we definitely need more. Stay cozy, safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to complain about the four inches we got. I honestly could not live where you do, I just could not.
