Saturday is Hailey's 11th Gotcha Day. Our lives have been an adventure since our anxious, independent, determined, sweet, whirlwind blasted into our lives and hearts. Next week will also mark 11 years of blogging. Without our girl, we would not be part of an amazing community and have made wonderful friends. One never knows where life will take you!
I think it is truly fair to say Lee is living her best life. Man works at home all the time still (and likely will for a long time). She is rarely alone. She has more off leash privileges (mainly because she has slowed down a little but she is also listening more). She has a routine she likes, this includes Sunday morning pancakes.
To Hailey!
May you have many more sunny days!
Hailey ~ Lee has a look in her eyes that seems to say she knows she is loved, is in the place
ReplyDeleteshe is meant to be ... all is right in her world. May you share many more years together.

Happy almost Gotcha Day, Hailey! We like having our pawrents home most of the time too. Ours are retired but it's almost the same as having the Man home while he works.

Congratulations on 11 years of blogging, and even more on doing such a wonderful job with dear sweet (and occasionally challenging) Hailey.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite the anniversary number for both Miss Lee as well as your blog. We are 'pawsitively' thrilled to have made your acquaintance in Blogville and look forward to many more years of adventures.
ReplyDeleteHappy Gotcha Day to Hailey! I don't know who is luckier...Hailey for having such a great home...or her humans for having such a great dog. :)
ReplyDeleteShe HAS been living her best life! I noticed when my Lilly turned 9, she forgot about killing the chickens and could come among them with no trouble... and she "forgot" she was born to kill squirrels. She still barked... but no longer chased. It was a good two years when she relaxed enough to enjoy life.
ReplyDeleteHi friends, Ojo here! Happy Gotcha Day, cousin! Here's to living your best life and to many more sunny days indeed!
