Nature Friday - Deer Love

Thanks to Rosy for hosting Nature Friday.

We have a special treat. Those of you who follow us on social media will have seen this already. It is too fantastic not to share again.

It was a Wednesday afternoon. Lady was in a meeting at home and the first deer approached, then the second and finally the mom. If that was not distracting enough, this happened - seriously 10 feet from Lady.

Enjoy!

  5. That would be 100% distracting to me. WOW and the deer is grooming the other one.
I might have told you this but I'm old so I'll tell you again
Greg was on a ZOOM call the other day with his colleagues up here at NC State University.
Mia (Tortie and totally a daddy's girl) knew he must be talking to her so she jumped up on the table smack in front of the computer started rubbing Greg's beard. Inquiring minds want to know if Greg per chance had crumbs in his beard?! Everyone on Zoom giggled.

  6. That is such a sweet scene. It would be difficult to concentrate on a meeting with that going on in front of you.

  7. A long time ago, I worked in a building that had been built at the edge of a huge park.
We could literally sit at our desks and see things like this, it was WONDERFUL! I'm so glad you got to see it.

  8. Many deer around here. Sometimes they trot across the street in broad daylight. I wonder what they're living on.

  9. We have a 8 deer that sleep in the empty river lot beside us! We love watching the deer, but they are aggressive towards Cinnamon. Do they bother you guys? Have a marvellously Happy Day!
