Thanks to Rosy for hosting Nature Friday. I brought the trail cam in because it said it had over 900 pictures on it. 850 were of a branch moving in the wind (we have put it in a new spot), but there were a few great ones. Those of you who follow me on other social media channels will have gotten a sneak peak at this.
The date stamp is wrong (I hope I have it fixed now!). This took place on September 2, in the early evening. The Man was in my office on the computer and saw some turkeys. I was sitting in the room you can see the windows of the house (that is our living/dining area). The Man asked me why all the turkeys and when I looked out there were like 4. We had no idea this was happening 20 feet from our house.
omg this is amazing... we wonder if they all were tehere even before you had the cam or did they came to become social media stars via your blog?
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!! i am so jealous... I have never seen wild deer or turkey or any thing in our yard but racoons, possums and squirrels and a few birds and ducks... ha ha on the tree limb shots. i love your new cam. can't wait to see what else shows up
ReplyDeleteOH dear the DEER trying to herd turkeys is worse than herding cats.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture....I know you are enjoying seeing....what you aren't seeing in person.
Hugs Cecilia

ReplyDeleteGracious - you live in a wild life park!!! YAM xx
Wow! Deer AND turkeys at the same time? We see plenty of deer around here, but only an occasional turkey.
ReplyDeleteWow, your trail cam did a great job showing you all those turkeys and deer. So exciting!
ReplyDeleteWhen we first moved to our place in 2005, we saw turkey and quail in our pasture all the time, they often went right through the yard. Deer were in our pasture, jumping over the fence into our neighbor's bigger place. As more homes were built on our still-gravel road, the animals have fallen back. This is so neat to see!
ReplyDeleteWow! Look at all the critters in the yard!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of turkeys and you had a few deer enjoying your yard too.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have a LOT of visitors!
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! WHAAAAT!?!? Can I come over and CHASE?!!!?!?!?
