Lady was cleaning out some old journals in her office and found this one.
It appears to have the Hailey stamp of approval! When I was younger, I really liked to chew books. I am over that now.
Lady said, we all would be a little happier if I kept my destruction to this level. She may actually be right for once.
we eat books too... that#s a clever way to make all the wisdom of da books to ours...
ReplyDeleteI chewed a hole in the carpet on the steps, and a hole on the arm of a leather chair when I was a pup. I also got hold of a few shoes and flip-flops. But I would never do such things now. Oh, GW just reminded me about the hole I chewed in her favorite socks last week. Whoops!
ReplyDeleteMillie chewed up a book in her early days here too. It must be something with those black dogs. BOL!
ReplyDeleteI have only once chewed a book. It was Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel and I was only 3 months old (and Gail read it anyway so I don't see the problem...)
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Lee darling...now if that had been a mystery...you could say you took a bit out of crime.

Lee, we have many books and wooden furniture with those decorative corners.....BOL!
ReplyDeleteTeeHeeHee....We have a few books like that from...believe it or not...Bilbo's puppy days.

Hailey, we love seeing you as a puppy in that photo. So very cute. You just had to play with something and the book looked like the best option. Thanks for the wonderful share. Have a beautiful day.
