Nature Friday - Frequent Visitors

We join Rosy and the Boyz in Nature Friday. These aren't the best pictures as they were snapped on Lady's phone, but we are sharing 2 of our frequent visitors.

Tim - the lone male turkey who visits almost ever day.

Lady noted there were some confidential work notes on her desk so she got to scribble

And Felicia the Fox - although we have learned this week there is a Felix . . . so this could be either. The dogs really dislike the foxes. They carry on if they see them. In fairness they are only about 8 feet from the window and they saunter by (they are clearly not bothered by the barking dogs).

  3. Wow! There are lots of really big birdies around here now: hawks, geese, vultures, crows, sea gulls, but they never stop in my yard.

  5. Well what you humans call 'carrying on' is actually a totally reasonable response to a trespassing fox, whether or not you are a fox terrier!
    Toodle pip!

  6. We've seen a fox in our yard once when we were out at 3 am doing tinkle. I didn't bark and mom couldn't wait to get back inside.

  13. I always love seeing anything like Tim and Felicia that wanders into our yard. For me, it says that all is well in our "peaceable kingdom" and there's no bad juju out there! :-)
