Mischief Monday - Weather!

We did not get the 10 cm they had been calling for, but yesterday morning we woke up to a fairly wintery world (which was mostly gone by sun down, thank goodness, we are NOT ready for it to stick).

There is a lot to sniff because of . . . . .

The wild turkeys! They also leave a lot of yummy treats in our yard!

For days, there has been a group of about 12, the peeps call the pose, hanging around.

Taken earlier in the week outside the Lady's office window.  They like the seed the squirrels throw.

Even with all the good sniffs, our Phod still took some time to play with Precious, who will be hibernating once the real snow falls!

the threats of snow over our way have not quite manifested yet - in fact, the Hutch has been basking in bright sun and cloudless blue skies for three days. This is SPOOKY!!! It won't last but am loving it for the time it's here. It is much too early for the white stuff. Though I would love to have a posse of turkeys to watch! hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx

  3. Brrr I'm definitely not prepared for snow yet! Even 60 degrees feels chilly after months of 90+ degrees!

  6. Turkeys! Lots of turkeys. We'd be barking like mad. A fine taste of snow, but we hope it doesn't stick for awhile....and become deep.

  10. We are jealous of your snow. All we've been getting is rain for days on end.

  11. We have a big group of wild turkeys around here too, but we haven't seen them for a while. Maybe they flew off to your neck of the woods:) We would love to see some snow, but the Momster says NOOOOOO!!!

  14. Snow? Oh goodie, hopefully some will fall here soon. Those 'visitors' do know Thanksgiving is around the corner, right? Talk about living dangerously during the 'howlidays.' 🦃

  15. We too received snow; some of it is still lingering around but the forcast of rain later in the week should wash it away; thank dog.
    Love the turkeys.
