Many of our wildlife neighbours are whitetail deer. In the past 2 weeks, the mothers have returned to the area with their fawns. As Lady was going to get groceries last week, she stopped the car at the end of the driveway as she spotted one of the babies. She snapped his/her picture hiding in the tall grass and wildflowers. As she was driving away, a second fawn was came bouncing out of the long grass (well into the field, not near her car). It was lovely to see!
The fawns are as beautiful as any flower is!
ReplyDeleteThere is a mamma deer and her twins who like to eat the grass by the back door of the nursing home in the evening. It's such a thrill to see them!

ReplyDeleteNothing fake... fauna goes with flora, a natural pairing! YAM xx
We also love seeing deer....especially the little ones! We always worry about them though wandering around in this neighborhood with cars on the road, etc.

ReplyDeleteWe have deer here too and we always enjoy seeing them.
ReplyDeleteThose fawns are so beautiful. We haven't seen any around here this year yet.
ReplyDeleteMom loves the little fawns. We only see the big deer once in a while here. They are usually racing across the road.
