Flower Friday

We join Rosy for Flower Friday. Lady has managed to keep this plant alive since Easter. This is impressive with her anti-green thumbs!

  1. Very pretty. Is that an African Violet? Mom asks because it is the one plant she's guaranteed to kill even with Dog Dad doing the watering.

OMG, the African Violet is the one plant the YAMster can't keep alive. Them and cyclamen. ... or in fact, most flowering pot plants. Foliage plants, no trouble. Flowers. Nope, any flowering plant which enters the Hutch is commiting floricide. Sigh... YAM xx

  3. Yay for Lady....mom has managed to kill the supposedly hearty orchid she bought back in February. In reality it is probably the lack of proper light

  7. That's a very pretty African violet and it looks so healthy. Mom bought two new ones a few weeks ago and isn't too impressed with how they are doing. Hopefully they won't die.
