Terrible Tuesday

We are in shock! We had to stand and watch while our Lady did the most horrible thing.

See this:

What you see there is a bag of perfectly good toys that the Lady 'culled'. Can you believe she had the nerve to pick up the fluff and pieces of some of our favourite toys? She said that parts of toys are not needed. We say they are still perfectly good!

She said we still have a full toy box, we are not hard done by. We don't think a full toy box is enough. We had barely forgiven her for putting us in jail and now this . . . . .

It is a terrible day here in the Gatineau Hills.

  3. Well dang I'm speechless and that just never happens to a southern kitty.
Why in the world did she do it AFTER leaving you in the kennel for 19 days...that adds insult to injury for sure.
    Sending my sincere sympathies

  4. OMD that is just the worst thing to happen. Peeps have no idea how precious our toys are to us dogs even when they are getting a bit frayed and losing their stuffing. Nose licks and love from Moth xx

  9. WHY oh why do moms take such joy in purging the toy box? Mom is obsessed with that activity as well. Prediction: if it's anything like my house, she'll buy you kids some new toys soon - and the cycle will begin again.

  10. OH NO!!!!! Well if your Mom insists on getting rid of those parts (which are perfectly good by the way) send them to Phenny over in Brittany since he loves ripping things to BITS - it would save him a lot of work to just have parts! HAHAHA

    Love, Angel Sammy

  11. Why is it that the toys the humans want to "cull" are always the ones that we love the best!!! We sure hope there is a plan in place to replace those beloved toys with some new ones.

  16. I really should do that too. The toy box is overflowing but when I go to cull the toys some have sentimental memories attached to them to dogs that have already passed over to the Bridge. I guess that's the last step to letting go, I'll still have the memories. Maybe this weekend.

  17. My Mom did that after Christmas when the entire living room was covered in toys, some of them that I never play (if it isn't soft or doesn't squeak I'm not interested). She said those could go to one of the rescue places as they are almost new and maybe those pups would play with them.

  20. Oh no!!!! Don't give ghostwriter any ideas about throwing away any of my beat up, tattered, and stinky old squeaky toys! I'd better go to my squeaky toy storage facility and do some inventory now! Yipes!
