Today we are taking time to give thanks for our wonderful lives. We have loving homes, plenty of food to eat, we get lots of exercise, and we have wonderful friends, some who we know in the furs and some virtually. We are very thankful to be part of the loving, wonderful, Blogville community. It is truly the best place in the world. While we have been busy and not able to visit like we would like to, please know you are all never far from our thoughts.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your hurry cane message. I tell you one thing Matthew overstayed his welcome and he was a rude guest. Neither he nor any of his relatives are ever welcomed here again. Worst wind we have ever heard. The peeps sat up all night long listening to him howl and moan. And it rained furever, 15 1/2 hours, non stop.

Thanksgiving ~ well it will be coming here in the States soon. You know with the election we are having here a lot of our friends are looking into moving north into Canada. Lee says we could celebrate Thanksgiving the second Monday of October.
ReplyDeleteWhen Lee was small her Grandmother died on Thanksgiving so her mother never celebrated Thanksgiving again always saying it was the day her mother died. Then when Lee got older she realized Thanksgiving did not fall on the same date every year and asked her mother exactly what was the date of her Grandmothers death. Lee's mother looked at her so stupidly and said "Thanksgiving".
