The Drive Home - BAR

30 miles from our destination to BAR we had to do a 40 mile detour on the way there. This added about 1 hour to an already long day. Hailey and Easy wanted to get home faster, so Easy suggested they drive.  Lady said no.

"Come on Lady, we would be safe."

Easy also offered to navigate. Lady thanked him, but took the navigation upon herself. She was able to find a route that went north and through Dayton instead of Cincinnati. The total trip time that day was about an hour less than the way down, so we believe it saved time.

There was no wind and the Man became more relaxed about driving the RV. Look, he only drove with one hand!

After a day and a half, we made it back to just North of Syracuse to our car. No one was happier than Hailey, who had been standing or sitting panicked for the drive. She curled right up and went to sleep.

While we had to show our rabies certificates at the board, there wasn't a problem. We were all happy to be home. Our BAR story starts with "other than almost dying once, we had a fantastic time".

  6. Your mom is a WISE and Wonderful Woman... NOT to trust Easy with the Driving or Navigating... we have seen too many of his... EVENTFUL journeys... you did NOT need ANOTHER near death experience on your way home from BAR.
OMD we DO love EASY... butt... also KNOW HIM SO WELL.
We can't believe that your dad DARED to drive the DEATH MOBILE one Pawed.
We did not Return home by way of Cincinnati either... We just got on I-70 at Dayton. I-70 goes right through Zanesville, OHIO...which is not far from where our HILL is located. WE WAVED when we went through.
