Busy Friday - Show and Tell and Flowers

Before we begin our very busy day, Lady wants to thank you all for your kind words about her FAIL yesterday. When it all went down, I think Miss Hailey Bug was soooooo busy doing her own thing she didn't even notice. We have had a week of good walks, so that helps. (If only it would be above freezing in the morning).

Today we are participating in 3 events.

First up: Bacon's Show and Tell

This month, we have recorded it is more embarrassing pictures. Now Lady is very careful not to post really embarrassing pictures, but here is one that is from the cruise in January. Here she is trying to learn the moves to the Thriller dance. That may not be too embarrassing (even though she has 2 left feet), what is more embarrassing is the fact she realized she has never seen the video. After being scared by it at age 9, she has never re-watched it. She is that whimpy.

Second, we are joining Dory for Flower Friday.  We searched our yard (which is almost 100% snow free) and found these as our only flowers:

Perhaps this is also embarrassing - Gardening is something Lady wishes she enjoyed
We should get a few flowers soon:

Planted by the previous owner. Alive because it is low maintenance

Off the dozens of bulbs Lady planted a couple years ago, this is the only one that is coming up
Because our flower showing is so sad, we are adding some of our trees to brighten this post up!

Last, but definitely not least, according to Ranger's Wacky Holidays, today is Greenie Day. We hope all our pals get to enjoy a Greenie (and not the one we get every week from failing to guess Sammy's teaser!).

  1. I just caught up on yesterday's post. Hugs to you.

I'm not much of a gardener either and mostly rely on what the previous owners planted. We do have a few tulips which I love.

  7. GREENIE Day? WOW! That's a day I could get to like! As for your Mom's Thriller photo - that dance would be impawsible to learn - so she gets big points for even trying. Looks like some plants are TRYING to make a show for Spring.....we have stuff coming up too and with all the rain we've had it's lookin' good!

    Hugs, Sammy

  12. Wait - it's Greenie Day?!!? That's awesome! We only get one probably twice a week (because our mom is mean), so even though we had one last night, we should get one again tonight, right?!!?
Great job with the Flower Friday. Our mom's garden motto is "don't give up". Whatever.
    Yours sincerely,

  14. The flowers, plants and scenery are beautiful. I'm sorry about your fall. Like you I walk both of my dogs at the same time and I always worry about their pulling and dragging me if they see something exciting. Take care of yourself.

  15. That looks like some colt's foot you're growing there (the yellow flowers.) Don't worry. Pretty soon the rest of the flowers will come up!

  16. Oh, WAY back when, Ma could do the whole video! Her and the dance team could really rock it! (she THINKS she still can, butts no one would EVER wants to see THAT!!!! yikes!) Ma's favorite saying is: 'Dance like no one is watching'. (well, I guess that explains the New Year's Eve display in our livingroom...☺)
Anyhu, Ma thought of Hailey this morning when we were out on our walkie and I smelled something and had just a mild WTD IS THAT freakout....no pulling just a lot of lookin' and sniffin' and tail down. The smell must have made it all the way down here! BOL
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥
