To participate please send a picture of your festival of lights to leeandphodATbellDOTnet no later than Friday, December 11, 2015. Please include you name(s) and your blog address.
For each participant we are going to make $1 donation to an animal related charity. I have it narrowed down to 2. Both are very meaningful to me, so I am having an very hard time deciding. I am going to ask you all to help me pick. Please leave a comment about what charity you think we should support in this fundraiser. The charity with the most votes by whatever time I get to counting them on Saturday, will win.
The choices:
1) Wounded Warriors - PTSD Service Dog Program
2) Cat Rescue Network Ottawa - To help Sponsor a Cat in Need
Please feel free to spread the word and thanks for participating!
I will celebrate with you on st. lucy's day of course :o) what a wonderful idea.... well done bestest girl, brother phod and their lady :o)
ReplyDeleteMom actually donated all our Christmas stuff to Goodwill when they moved - with just the 2 peeps they don't bother celebrating Christmas any more
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a super idea! I'll get it all added to the BCCalendar and I'll send a pix as soon as my peeps get going on some holiday lights. BOL Hmmmm that's a tough choice fur sure. Maybe split the money and donate to both? I guess I'd vote for the cat rescue network to support our kitty furiends.

What a grreat idea! Our lights will go up this weekend, so I'll make sure Momma gets a picture for you! We would say Wounded Warrior, because we know they're a grreat organization and like to support them whenever we can.

Cool idea! We are always about our veterans so we say Wounded Warriors.
ReplyDeleteOz
How thoughtful of you especially in light of your recent posts (we're just catching up).
ReplyDeleteNot sure about Christmas lights here but we'll see what we come up with. As for which charity, we'd actually like to see some cats in need be helped since we've got a bit of a soft spot for the felines. (likely why we have six in the barn and two in the house - all spoiled)
Great idea, not sure if mum is putting up the lights this year,xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteOh what a great event to raise money for a very good cause.

We will do our best to participate too. Our outside lights are all set except for the timers. We vote for splitting the donation - both outstanding groups.

What a great idea. We will make sure to send you a picture of our lights. We only have indoors ones since nobody can see our house from the road.
ReplyDeletePawsome lights idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!! I will do my best to get a pic to you!!
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to decide which one for sure! I will say wounded warriors.
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
That is a great idea. We don't do many lights but maybe this will convince our parents.
ReplyDeleteThose are both excellent charities. Have you thought about splitting the money down the middle? I don't usually decorate with lights, but I have an idea if I can get a decent picture.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteOur lights aren't usually too exciting, but we will try to join in anyway!
ReplyDeleteWhat a tough choice, but I guess I would choose Wounded Warriors.
We're going to decorate wiff our lights tomorrow. Dis is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI like WW.
Happy Thanksgiving!

We will do a graphic and send in and of coarse we are all for supporting Wounded Warriors - PTSD Service Dog Program
ReplyDeleteI am sending a picture and I vote for Cat Rescue for my kitty sister Madi.
ReplyDeleteZiggy Out!
What a wonderful idea. I am going to say Wounded Warriors. Those dogs are expensive to train and do so much good. You are spreading so much good beyond the dog itself. The dog, the warrior, and often the family and friends around benefit as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing you are doing here! I will get Wesley picture in to you right away. :) As for the donation...well, I agree with Bailey just about me about Wounded Warriors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea. Momma is sending ours now :)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Ginger, Matt & Matilda
Super idea! We'll participate. Our vote goes to the Wounded Warrior Project!
