Last Thursday, Hailey had wind in her tail and she did the silliest thing. She stole Phod's precious from him. Not only did she steal it, she teased him with it. She was so happy, and Phod didn't know what to do. Here is a short clip of the 20 + minutes she teased him.
The reason she took precious was she discovered she could chew a piece off of it, so she kept it until she was done destroying it.
Here is the peace she chewed off.
Since Phod was so sad, Lady took him to pick another ball (you will notice he has a few to pick from).
But Phod wasn't really happy with any of them, this is what he preferred to do.
After about 20 minutes or so, Lee gave him his precious back, and Phod was the happiest dog ever!

Oh girls! That's what they always do LOL :o) I'm glad Phod is a gentleman and waited till she gave him HIS treasure back. I agree with Phod, we need the one ball, no other :o)

ReplyDeletePoor Phod. Monty used to steal Sam's stuffies all the time. Sam was so proud of all his toys - we ended up having them all in the craft room and Sam knew if he wanted to play with one he had to ask to be let in.

new balls just never seem the same - they don't have all the smells and dog slobber on them - we found it is better to buy a bunch of them and rolls them around the house and garden, run them on Denny fur and do what ever we can to get than new smell off them

ReplyDeleteWow! I have a vast collection of squeaky balls and toys. Every single one is thoroughly slobbered and chewed up to perfection. (That is standard squeaky toy procedure in my house.) Joey dog sometimes sneaks in and takes a fuzzy toy and I have to sit around and sulk impatiently until he gives it back. Harumph!

ReplyDeleteThose black Dogs are a menace, aren't they? Ojo steals my toilet paper tubes all the time. She doesn't even carefully dismantle them, she just rips into them and then leaves them there. The nerve. She also steals my precious, who is named Puffie (whom I cuddle with an suckle and lick, and he makes me feel safe and happy). She shakes him and tosses him around and removes his ears.
Black Dogs are trouble.
I am glad you got your Precious back, although I am sorry it has a hole! Do not ever let it out of your sight again! Even when sleeping!
